Fox Pool
Built by an angler, for anglers
I’m Graham, owner of Fox Pool France. I’ve spent most of my life carp fishing both in the UK and across France.
I learned my fishing on the famous Redesmere, a water known to many anglers through names such as Frank Warwick, Ali Hamidi and Gaz Fareham, before going on to fish a number of respected UK syndicate waters including Linch Hill in Oxfordshire and Rockford in Hampshire.
Over the last 25 years, I’ve also spent a huge amount of time fishing waters across France.

Before buying Fox Pool, I was heavily involved with both Stoke-on-Trent Angling Society and Prince Albert Angling Society, where I spent many years as both a member and bailiff.
Owning my own carp fishery had always been a dream of mine, and in 2018 that dream became reality when I took over Fox Pool France.
My background
Originally from South Manchester, I later lived in Macclesfield, Cheshire for more than 20 years while running a successful building and joinery business before eventually making the move to France.
Why Fox Pool?
For me, Fox Pool France is about far more than just running a fishery. I genuinely enjoy helping anglers enjoy their trips, whether that means offering advice when needed, helping visitors settle in or simply seeing someone achieve a new PB for the first time.
Watching anglers realise those moments is still one of the best parts of the job for me.
My aim has always been to create a relaxed, welcoming venue where anglers can enjoy good fishing, peaceful surroundings and a proper week away on the bank.
