Meet Graham
Graham Chadwick
Owner of Fox Pool since 2018
I’m Graham, owner of Fox Pool France and a lifelong carp angler with experience fishing some of the UK’s best-known waters, including Redesmere, Linch Hill and Rockford, as well as lakes across France. After many years as a bailiff and member of respected angling societies, I fulfilled a lifelong ambition by taking over Fox Pool in 2018.
Today, my focus is simple: to provide quality fishing, genuine hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere where anglers can enjoy a memorable week on the bank. Whether you need advice, local knowledge or just a friendly welcome, I’m always happy to help make your stay one to remember.

This was our 5th time visiting, and once again we had an absolutely fantastic time as a family of three. We’ve loved it so much that our son and daughter-in-law have joined us on previous visits too, which makes the experience even more special.
The lake is beautiful, peaceful and really well looked after, with carp of all different sizes, and theres always that excitement of wondering what you might land next!
The all-inclusive food is absolutely amazing, and it’s a bonus when you just want to watch the lines, certainly never left hungry! Having all the fishing equipment ready to go is another added bonus.
Of course Graham, the owner, is a top bloke. He is friendly, welcoming and always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a fantastic stay. Nothing is too much trouble, even a smile when I asked for a trip to the shop as my hubby wouldn’t move from his rods.
Another added bonus is getting to spend and evening with Graham’s best friends, Silve and Gert, who are absolute characters and also go above and beyond. They really add to the friendly, homely atmosphere and make every visit even more enjoyable.
Five visits in and we still love it just as much as the first. Beautiful lake, fantastic carp fishing holiday.

Foxpool was the perfect place to start my French carp fishing adventure. An intimate lake in peaceful surroundings, a good stamp of quality fish and 4 pegs, each with an ample amount of water and plenty to go at. The lake can be challenging at times but it is definitely rewarding. The facilities are spot on and in terms of a host, they don’t come much better than Graham who is always on hand for help and advice. If you’ve been thinking about fishing in France and haven’t done so yet, book yourself onto Foxpool, you won’t regret it.

Having fished a number of waters in France over the years, I can honestly say Fox Pool stands out for all the right reasons. The lake is beautifully maintained, the fish are in fantastic condition and every peg offers plenty of opportunity. It isn’t a runs water, but if you put the work in you’ll be rewarded with some stunning carp. Graham works incredibly hard to keep both the fishery and the anglers happy, and that really shows throughout your stay (don’t accept his invitation to play cards, though!)
